I'm excited!! Very much excited cuz this is like a dream come true!! Well, almost..
Actually I just got a new keyboard from my eldest brother (about a week or a few days ago i think). He is like a Santa Claus who will grant almost everything on my wish list.. Haha... well, like I said, almost everything.. Not everything.. And he is like the genie in Aladdin's story... I just need to gosok2 da lamp n tadaa.. What I want will be in front of my eyes... Hehehe.... Well, sort of like that.. So, I wana thank him for the keyboard... Actually I didnt even ask him to buy the keyboard for me.. I even told him not to buy for me... But he is just too generous... awww.... haha...
Here's the whole story about how I got interest in piano/keyboard.. Cuz I'm sure most people will wonder why suddenly I got this interest in piano/keyboard... Well actually I got the interest to play piano quite a long time ago already.. but then my parent just mentioned that they will buy me a piano but never really buy one.. They said I dont even know how to play piano... And they cant afford to send me to music school... (huhu.. so disappointed that time...) So the desire to have a piano and learn about music had to be hold back first that time... i think i was in form 1 or 2 that time..
So for years I've been wishing to learn to play the piano... But never really showed my interest in piano to other people.. When the fact is I was dying to learn! And I even entered the choir room and watched the pianist played a few songs.. Haha..
Then one day when I was in form 4/5, my best buddy - Roy, took out his keyboard and played a song... As I watched him in awe, I told myself I can play like him too one day... hehe.. So I learn a few things from him but afterward I forgot about them all cuz I never practise!
One or two years later, I got in to Form Six and there I met a few people who can play the piano.. I was so envious of them but I never really showed them my envyness.. Hehe.. And I think three of my classmates can play the piano.. When I listened to their conversations about piano, waa... So envious that time.. but diam2 only lar.. haha..
Then one day, one of my classmates - Karen brought me to her rented house and taught me a simple song... I was so excited that time... but I was still too slow to even catch up with the melody.. huhu.. NOOB! And afterward, I forgot about everything that I learnt just because I never practise.. huhu...
This year, I met a scout friend (Sylvian) who can play the piano as well.. He taught me a few things but I guess I was too blur to even understand what he taught me... haha.. But anyway, I did learnt a few things from him.. Then one day as I was browsing through youtube, a thought came to me... Since internet can provide a vast information about a lot of things, why not search 'how to play piano' on youtube? And voila, I found it.. Well, the 'teacher' is a real piano teacher from Canada... He is Andrew Furmanczyk... And below are two of his sites...

And since the minute i found the site, I never stop watching... And maybe because my brother saw me sat in front of the computer one whole day, not moving and dont care about anything else, that moved him to buy me the keyboard... And so, thanks to him and also Andrew! =)
